Training Session for Creative Partnerships North & South Tyneside

Working in collaboration with Anne Curtis, a freelance arts education specialist, and Jan Adcock, an AST from Downhill Infant School, Infinite Arts has developed a training course on reflection, partnership and inclusion. Through the sessions, tutors and participants are developing a Reflective Practice Toolkit which currently contains handouts with inclusive activities and tools to aid reflection, offering practical guidance and support to both teachers and their creative partners. The Toolkit is a work in progress; the file allows for the addition of materials from future sessions. School are actively encouraged to add their own reflective practice materials as they engage children and partners in the creative/reflective process.

The interactive approach used in the first phase has ensured that we are not simply issuing ‘rules’ for others to live by. The key partners have spent time thinking about what they might need in order to move forward.
